As an approved ILM centre, the St Andrews Management Centre delivers ILM vocationally relevant qualifications (VRQ) in leadership & management.  We also help businesses to develop their own in-house training programmes through the ILM Endorsed & Developed programmes.

About Us

St Andrews Management Centre delivers training in Leadership & Management, Learning & Development units, Management of Change, Project Management, International Trade & Customs Compliance, Finance & Budgeting and Customer Service Skills.

Founded in 2013 by Jeff Lockhart and Rick Bond, St Andrews Management Centre is a training provider that will adapt and flex to the needs of different workplaces, employees and industries. With backgrounds in finance and further education, both Jeff and Rick firmly believe that training needs to work for the individual learner as much as the business and this principle is carried right through the learning process.

Our belief in the flexibility of training means that at STAMC we offer certificated courses from the ILM (part of the City & Guilds of London), and the SQA; short courses and bespoke, tailored exercises. All training is delivered by experienced trainers who have worked in senior management roles across a variety of industries.

I found the lectures very approachable, supportive and helpful. I enjoyed every workshop. The interaction with the class helped to see the bigger picture. Hearing the thoughts and opinions from the other students gave me a better understand of different management/learning styles etc and how they are used within the council.

Due to COVID-19 the whole course was delivered through Microsoft Teams. I found St Andrews Management Centre constantly made improvements throughout the course. I found the breakout rooms a very good addition

On Thursday evening we welcomed Ken Gourlay, Chief Executive of Fife Council, to present our candidates with their ILM Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management certificates. A great evening was had by all, well earned by our hard-working candidates. It was a pleasure to celebrate their success with them and we wish them all the best for future.
