It was a red-letter day at the STAMC offices on 28th August as we welcomed our first cohort of candidates who are undertaking our new CMI Level 5 Certificate in Project Management qualification.
Over the next 4/5 months, our candidates will explore the theory behind successfully managing projects, exploring the role that projects have in organisations achieving their strategic goals and the tools and techniques that can be utilised to successfully deliver a project. This theory will be reflected on through the lens of real projects that the candidates are familiar with or have researched.
This qualification comprises of two units:
- Managing Projects to Achieve Results
- Conducting a Management Research Project
Our candidates are now deep into unit one, Managing Projects to Achieve Results, and already working on the assignment for that unit. Both units combine theory with the practical application of learning through assessment tasks and reflection.
