Developing Futures Applications Now Open!

Developing Futures Applications Now Open!

We are delighted to announce that we are now taking applications to join our Developing Futures sponsorship scheme. Developing Futures aims to support young, aspiring, sportspeople by offering a small contribution towards the costs of their activities.

STAMC Directors, Rick and Jeff, were both keen sportsmen in their youth; Jeff competed at Country and National Schools level in athletics and represented his country in an International Club event at Under 18 level. Rick was a keen rugby player in his school days. Both remain keen followers of sport at both local and national levels.

It was this interest in sport, and a passion for developing talent which fuels all STAMC activity, which inspired the creation of STAMC’s Developing Futures programme in 2021. Since its inception, Developing Futures has supported two young people to pursue their sporting ambitions.

Applications are now open to join the scheme. Applicants must be resident in Scotland and under 18 for at least 6 months following the commencement of the support period (1st May 2024). Applicants must be participating and competing in a category appropriate to their age group.

To Apply download the application form and submit it to sponsor@stamc.co.uk by noon on the 4th March. Please note that there are limited funds available to the programme each year and we cannot guarantee support for every application we receive.
